Downham Market Water Festival
Paul's Driving School
Paul’s Driving School raised £830 for The Special Care Baby Unit, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn
On Sunday 9th August 2009 myself and some of my friends participated in the 3rd annual Downham Market Dragon Boat Race day.
Whilst participating in this event myself and all my crew members (9 in total) raised £830 for The Special Care Baby Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn.
Whilst at the event I also attended with a display stand of all details about the services provided by my driving school along with my tuition vehicle parked alongside it.
As a special offer on the day, I also ran a free-to-enter multiple choice theory test competition where people were able to win themselves free driving lessons with my driving school.
Special promotional discount vouchers on lessons prices were also available on the day.
I would like to thank all members of my crew who participated in the event, and everyone who sponsored my crew.
Despite only having a crew of 9 members against other crews of 11 we finished a very respectable 18th out of 25 teams.
